Extended Powertrain Warranty

Coverage includes:

- Engine

- Transmission & Rear End

- Seals & Gaskets (within covered components)

- Air Conditioning components: compressor, compressor clutch, compressor bearing & pulley, air condenser, air evaporator

- Parts and labour with $0 deductible (if repair is performed at Haldimand Motors - otherwise a $90 deductible applies at other repair centres).


Coverage details:

ENGINE: Cylinder block, cylinder head(s), pistons, water pump, oil pump, oil pan, timing chain, valve cover(s), all internal lubricated parts if damaged from within by the mechanical failure of a covered internal engine part.

TURBO/SUPERCHARGER: Manufacturer installed/approved: housing and all internal lubricated parts if damaged from within.

TRANSMISSION: (Automatic or Standard) Transmission (case, housing), torque converter, modulator valve, all internal lubricated parts if damaged from within.

TRANSAXLE: (FWD): Housing and all internal lubricated parts if damaged from within.

DIFFERENTIAL(RWD): Pot housing and all internal lubricated parts if damaged from within.

DIFFERENTIAL(RWD): Pot housing and all internal lubricated parts if damaged from within.

ALTERNATOR & STARTER: Alternator & starter.

SEALS & GASKETS: Seals and gaskets used to contain fluids or lubricants within the covered parts of the plan and option(s) purchased; covers excessive leakage..

AIR-CONDITIONING: Manufacturer installed/approved: compressor, condenser, evaporator, compressor (clutch, bearing and pulley).

Warranty Renewal Options:

 - Free if still within a Haldimand Motors or Coast-to-Coast Extended Warranty (require proof of current mileage).

 - 1 hour labour charge for inspection if still within the vehicle's original Manufacturer's Factory Warranty.

Warranty Renewal Terms:

 - The vehicle must have no more than 140,000km.

 - The vehicle must be no older than 6 years.

 - The current Extended Warranty (Haldimand Motors or Coast-to-Coast) or the vehicle's original Manufacturer's Factory Warranty period has not expired (either by time or kms).

 - The vehicle has not been involved in any accident(s) during the current warranty period that would void the current warranty.

Top Up Warranty

Coverage Includes:

- Air Conditioning components: compressor, compressor clutch, compressor bearing & pulley, air condenser, air evaporator

- Fuel Injection components: pressure regulators, lines & injectors.

- Steering components: gear housing, rack/pinion & pump.

- Brake components: master cylinder & reservoir, wheel cylinder, disc brake calipers, proportioning valves, assist boost, lines & fittings.

- Electrical components: alternator & voltage regulator, starter motor & solenoid, front wiper motors & pumps, front power seat motors.

- Hi-Tech components: Engine-mounted cruise control components, auto temp control & programmer dash display unit, main dashboard digital display cluster, power door lock actuators & switches, power window motors & switches, power seat switches, power sunroof motor switch, fuel pump, ABS pressure regulator & pump, internal transmission/transfer case electronic engagement component & wastegate controller.

- Parts and labour with $0 deductible (if repair is performed at Haldimand Motors - otherwise a $90 deductible applies at other repair centres).


Coverage details:

TOWING ASSISTANCE: On covered claims only. Valid receipts will be required for reimbursement. Up to $50.00 per occurrence. $200.00 over the Term of the Agreement. One tow per 72 hour period.

AIR-CONDITIONING: Compressor, compressor clutch, compressor bearing and pulley, condenser, evaporator, (manufacturer installed or approved only) excludes auxiliary unit.

FUEL INJECTION: Pressure regulators, fuel injection lines and fuel injectors.

STEERING: Gear housing & all internally lubricated parts, rack/pinion & all internally lubricated parts, power steering pump. (excludes four wheel steering or rear wheel steering)

BRAKES: Master cylinder and reservoir, wheel cylinder; disc brake calipers, proportioning valves; assist booster; steel lines & fittings. (For ABS see Hi-Tech Option)

ELECTRICAL: Alternator and voltage regulator; starter motor and solenoid; front wiper motors and front washer pumps; front power seat motors.

HI-TECH PARTS COVERAGE: Engine mounted electronic cruise control components (if factory of dealer installed); automatic temperature control/programmer dash display unit; main dashboard digital display cluster (excludes head-up display); Power door lock actuators, switches (excluding power sliding doors and power lift-gate/hatch); power window motors, switches; power seat switches; power sun roof motor, switch; fuel pump; ABS pressure regulator and pump; internal transmission/transfer case electronic engagement component; wastegate controller.

Warranty Renewal Options:

 - 1 hour labour charge for inspection if still within the vehicle's original Manufacturer's Factory Warranty .

Warranty Renewal Terms:

 - The vehicle must have no more than 130,000km.

 - The vehicle must be no older than 8 years.

 - The current Extended Warranty (Haldimand Motors or Coast-to-Coast) or the vehicle's original Manufacturer's Factory Warranty period has not expired (either by time or kms).

 - The vehicle has not been involved in any accident(s) during the current warranty period that would void the current warranty.

Optima Pre-Owned Warranty

Coverage Includes:

All components covered by the above Extended Powertrain Warranty and Top Up Warranty, as well as:

- Additional Parts: Timing chain/belt tensioner, axle shafts, drive shaft, CV joints, timing cover, mounts (motor transmission, transfer case, transaxle), gauge sending unit (oil pressure, temperature).

- XP Parts: Gauge sending unit (oil pressure, temperature), start (motor, solenoid), CV joints, alternator (voltage regulator), shaft (axle, drive).

Warranty Renewal Options:

 - 1 hour labour charge for inspection if still within the vehicle's original Manufacturer's Factory Warranty .

Warranty Renewal Terms:

 - The vehicle must have no more than 180,000km.

 - The vehicle must be no older than 8 years.

 - The current Extended Warranty (Haldimand Motors or Coast-to-Coast) or the vehicle's original Manufacturer's Factory Warranty period has not expired (either by time or kms).

 - The vehicle has not been involved in any accident(s) during the current warranty period that would void the current warranty.
